Two skills. variance-analysis explains budget versus actual variances from a CSV or a pasted table, naming the drivers and the recommended actions rather than reprinting the difference. budget-review reviews budgets, forecasts and spend requests against a consistent set of questions and ends with a clear recommendation.

Reach for it at month end, and whenever a spend request needs an answer that can be defended later.

Both skills work in Claude Code and in Cowork. In Claude Code the variance skill reads a CSV from your project and computes the variances itself; on the web there is no checkout, so paste the table into the conversation instead.
